Atelier Thirty Four is a London-based design consultancy established in 2022 by Dave Britton and Harry Hasson.

We specialise in product, furniture, lighting and interior design for businesses and organisations in the UK and internationally.
We are interested with honesty in design, things that feel familiar and have a certain ‘rightness’.
A core part of our process is model making and prototyping. Understanding materials and how things are made, but also getting a sense of scale and proportion is a key part of our design development.

We want to form lasting relationships with our clients that go beyond the traditional designer/client rapport.

Dave and Harry have worked for Matthew Hilton Studio since 2006 and 2010 respectively, collaborating with clients including Case, Christopher Farr, Conran, Crane, De La Espada, Ercol, Habitat, Heals, Nanimarquina and SCP.

We have a holistic view of design, materials and manufacturing. It is important to us to work closely with the factories and workshops where our products are made. Meeting the people who are making the designs, discovering their capabilities but also their limitations, is a necessary part of the process.

The best products come from problem solving in both design and manufacture, and by considering all aspects of how something is made then we get the best out of the people we are working with.

Dave and Harry are visiting lecturers at Ravensbourne University on the Product Design course, where they both studied, graduating in 2005 and 2009 respectively.
